I'm upgrading my old pc into new one. My old pc is Pentium D 2.8GHz (915) Socket 775 with 1GB DDR2 RAM. I bought Asrock G41MVS3 as it says it support Socket 775 and supports DDR3 1333(OC)/1066/800 non-ECC, un-buffered memory. After installing the motherboard with new 4GB DDR3-1333 and new 500GB hardisk, no display (vga) output at my monitor. I dont even get the BIOS screen at start-up. Please help me solve this problem. Any solution would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hello the drivers site is here:

The manual:

I think you should drop the onboard graphic and install a better graphic card in the 1 x PCI Express x16 slot on the mainboard.
Check the power supply for any fault. Is it new ???
You can not use the old Power supply because it might have a 20 pin connector this asrock has a 24 pin connector.
Check also you not have used the extenal graphic power connector in the 4 pin 12 + volt on the mainboard.
Check also all your power connections.
Reply me again if you can`t find the fault.
Good luck
Testimonial: "Hi Hans.. For your information, the motherboard is new, only the processor is old one. I have cheked power supply, its a 24pin connector and fits well. I have tested with Asus GT210-1GBDDR3 on the PCIE slot, also nothing happened. The problem still there ~ no vga output."

Some MOBO support different type of memory modules like ddr 400, 333,533 and other, if your computer is working fine with that PC400 it only means that your MOBO is compatible with it. Since you're planning to upgrade the memory just get another PC400 because the memory should be the same to work fine.

Hi sandesh8, did you know you can increase the memory size of the onboard AGP card above the 64MB? Page 26 in you're manual. If you install another AGP card into the opened AGP slot, please go to this site & only use the recomended AGP cards in the Asrock list. Click on this link: http://www.asrock.com/mb/vga.asp?Model=P4i45GV%20R5.0&s=478&c=VGA
This is one of very few video cards found on the list with 256MB of video memory.

It is possible that you are trying to use a SATA II HDD in a system that supports SATA. SATA II devices are not backwards compatible usually,

Hi, you can download a manual here:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?model=p4i65g
Your mainboard DOES NOT SUPPORT ECC RAM.
This ram type is ONLY intended for servers
or mainboards that are compatible for that ram type.
This is what your mainboard supports:
Dual Channel DDR memory technology
- 2 x DDR DIMM slots
- Supports DDR400/333/266 non-ECC, un-buffered memory
- Max. capacity of system memory: 2GB
Use only the asrock site when upgrading the bios.
And a bios upgrade does not supports the ecc ram anyway.
Hope this will help you.

Try to let a computer repair shop look at the mainboard. The mainboard maybe has a production fault and the waranty should cover this.
