Trying to draw to much power off the amp, i would say it isnt big enough for the subs you have or the wire (power) for the amp is way to small. car audio has specific requirements exact specs on all of it will make a big difference in the help we can give.

B channel cuts off after a few minutes

Speaker is blown or amp channel is. Swap channel connections from a to b, etc, and test channel again. If it doesn't clip you have your answer. If it still clips out, your amp has a blown channel.

Clips out

It's protect mode. The amp is drawing too much current. Drawing too much current causes your amp to heat up. So heat could be the issue as well. Does it do it instantly? If so. Could be that it isn't being supplied with enough voltage to run. Again power? There are a few fixes you can do. But again we need to know more of the symptoms. Try other things. Like Rev your car a little and then turn it up? Does it reset instantly after you turn it of and back on? More info.

I have ks-ax6801 1200w max. connected to 2 subwoofers cs-gw1200F but when you step up the volume of the headunit the amplifier clips.whats the problem....

To prevent clipping, you need to turn down the gain or bass boost on your amplifier. The reason this is happening is because the head unit is telling to put out a certain amount of power, and the amplifier, well... amplifies it based on your gain level. Reducing the gain should stop the clipping.

My amplifier is flashing back and forth between protect and power is it blown?

try disconnecting the speakers, if it still goes into protect, it has fried it's power transistors. If not, try connecting one speaker at a time, untill it starts clipping again, remove the last (problem) speaker connected and remove another one to connect the problem speaker. If it still clips, try connecting it with another set of cables, if it still clips, the speaker is gone. If not, replace the wires of that speakers position in the car. Can you give the specs of the amp and how many speakers you have connected?

Hi my name is David i have a 900 watt punch amp in

Hi, If you mean clipping on/off to be cutting out, then there are a few causes for this.
1) overloading the output circuits.
2) speaker wires shorting to earth/each other.

Try running 1 set of speakers at a time.

P.S. giving us a little more information will help profusely i.e amplifier capabilities, how you have the speakers connected. etc.

CROWN CE1000- slips into fault immediately after connection

if ur output power amp is defective u will have that problem - meaning the moment u connect load across it it will go into circuit protection to limit/stop excessive output current. make sure the speaker terminals are connected to +/- output terminals. in bridge mode use only channel 1 and that too with 4 ohms speaker only otherwise amp will clip. considering all connections are okay if it still clips when speaker is connected, u have a faulty power amp section. this the way ur amp is designed

What is the left and right clip light?

the left and right clips are for your subs to tell your amp that they are not going to (flatline) clip which is when you start to lose clarity and get distortion

Sub power hadling capacity

Yes. If the rated power is 380W and the Max power is 1000W then it will handle it. Subs fry when clipping occurs. Clipping is when the amplifier is pushed past its capabilities and the output to the sub gets "dirty". The better quality the amp, the safer it will be on your speakers. It is also important to remember that the gain control on the amplifier is NOT a volume control to boot the sound, it is only to match the output from the headunit to the input handling of the amp. Cranking the gain up too much WILL CAUSE CLIPPING.
