SOURCE: fault code f70, drain pump keeps running, nothing else works
Hi,
Yes. F70 is a flood in the base of the unit which activates the float switch and constantly activates the drain pump until the water has gone. Isolate the unit at the power switch and remove the bottom panel under the door panel. Dry up the water as best possible with a towel. You will see the float at the front. Run the unit again and check for any water leaks. You may just have over sudded the unit with too much detergent. Only use 2 teaspoons of powder. To start with while testing don't use any detergent. Good luck
Hope this helps.

hi,
A F70 fault is the float switch in the base of the unit which is activated due to water in the base. you may have used too much detergent or the wrong detergent causing the unit to over sud or you have a genuine water leak. the continous running noise is the drain pump trying to remove any water.
you need to remove the bottom panel, turn the power off and dry up the water with a towel. then run it again and see if you can see a leak.
hope this helps

im going to have to write this in two posts there is a long amount of things to check with remedies F70 Float switch fault After the WaterProof System has activated, the program is interrupted and the drain pump is operated. The fault will be indicated in the display or via LEDs. The buzzer is activated for as long as the fault is detected. Note: The drain pump continues to operate even after the appliance has been shut off. The drain pump can only be deactivated by disconnecting the power supply connection. Cause: Water in the drip pan. Changeover contact of overflow float switch B8/3 closed from 1 to 4 (refer to the wiring diagram). Remedy: 1. Remove the water from the drip pan (e.g., with an absorbent cloth). Note: Upon opening the appliance and removing all water, there should be no smudges, smears or traces of deposits. Take pictures of any deposits, if possible, and note their type (rust, calcium, detergent, or salt?). 2. Check all hoses, connections and threaded unions for leaks.
