It will not start. I press the start button and nothing happens. The display flashes PAU and the time remaining
PAU means the machine is "paused".

I have had that problem before...Try unplugging it and plugging it back in...sometimes it's almost like dealing with a computer.

I fixed this myself and it only took about 5 minutes. The problem is the door latch needs to be reset, which requires unplugging it's three electrical connections. This has to be done inside the washer outer seal, but it is easy to get to. First remove the outer ring that holds the seal on. Next remove only the side of the seal closest to the door latch (again only the outer seal needs to be undone). With this done remove the two screws holding the door latch in place (inside). Remove the latch, unplug the three connectors, plug them back in then reassemble everything. When all is back in place hit "cancel" and it should be good to go.

Got it fixed. Took the door lock switch out and glued the pin down so that the machine thinks that the door is always closed. This was better than purchasing a new part. Has solved the problem. This is a good solution if you are getting door lock error messages and the washer wont start.
