I have a RCA 52" HDTV Tv and the screen is black and two lines stretch across the top of the screen in a "U" shape... the bottom line is blue and the top is green. Please help, what could possibly be wrong?

this indications that you have a problem with convergence. first try to go into customer menu...setup....convergence. and see if the convergence will adjust.. if it wont then you have a problem with the convergence cuircit boards.

This indicates a convergence problem..convergence power supply probally.. however ive seen 2 other cuicits cause this ..

The vertical deflection output chip or associated cirutry including the coupling cap and controls. Some units have vertical output transistors which can short and open the B+ resistor feeding the transistors.

replace the deflection board. Your model uses the ITC222A deflection PSB-260 You can get the replacement deflection board from www.tvrepairworld.com

if you are talking about the picture looking like a 3-d picture,
The best advice I can tell you at this point is to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the complete convergence kit for your model of TV set, no need to search and order multiple parts from different sources and pay multiple shipping fees! Go to http://www.tvrepairkits.com/xcart/home.php?partner=larry
The kit comes with original Sanyo STK IC'S , not those cheap aftermarket or china made IC'S full pictorial directions, the thermal paste, resistors, the correct Pico fuses, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem with the repair. They ship out 2 to 3 day Priority mail, the next day in most cases GOOD LUCK!!!
