"My widows xp-2 have no any sound"

"Dear sir i have recently installed windows xp-2, but i did not hear any sound like shut down, any songs music. i have already installed driver of sound(realtek). there is no any problem in my speaker.
Please help me i shall ever grateful for this.

You almost have it correct. There is one more patch to Windows XP you must install before the High Definition Realtek Audio driver and possibly the onboard modem driver will work.

Read about kb888111.exe file from
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111/en-us

But kb888111.exe is not available at that link. It is here:
http://geekswithblogs.net/lorint/archive/2006/06/11/81540.aspx

Then re-install Realtek High Definition Audio Driver, and probably the modem driver as well since this usually uses the audio driver.

Hello sir,
1 thng u can do is try to re install the driver after uninstalling it n after installatio restart it.

do check the following points
-you r putting lead in green port.
-ur port is fully working

OS xp doesnt come with sound drivers. U have to install sound drivers for ur system. see if u have it in ur motherboard cd, or else u have to download.
OS vista & win7 comes with sound drivers already.

I know how good windows7 looks but I'm very sorry to inform you that as of this time windows 7 doesn't have all the support for some of the hardwares.. that is as of now..i suggest that you switch to windows xp with windows7 themes. that's the only solution i can give to your problem.

No sound

does this happen with all sounds or just that one song. DO you hear any sounds when winXP starts up or shuts down? IF so it may be that the song you are trying to play has moved or been deleted.
