The right front cooktop element will not shut off...it seems to be stuck on "HI". From everything I've seen on websites, it appears that the burner switch needs to be replaced. Professional Series Model # PLEF398CCC.
Hello,
The repair on this stove will be relatively easy then. All you are going to have to do is pull out the stove from the wall and remove the upper part of the back panel where the burner switches are.
Remove the knob and take out the screws that hold the switch to that front panel. Then from there just match up the wires to the new switch off the old one.
This repair will turn out to be pretty cut and dry for you. If you have anymore questions please ask.
Thanks Again,
Bill

My controls are on the back panel above the cooking surface.
Hello,
That is correct. Definitely one of the switches are stuck "on". Are your controls on the front of this oven or on the back panel above the cooking surface?
Thanks
