Pull the drawer out as far as it will come and then grasping it firmly, give it a good tug towards you, this will free the drawer to enable you to thoroughly clean every piece of it, particularly the conditioner parts of it.
Get a piece of wire with a bend on the end, and poke it in to all the holes in the top of the dispenser compartment, this will clera any blockages there.
Plz rate my solution, and feel free to leave any comment.
Thanks.

Water in the fabric softner compartment after wash cycle

You need to poke all the holes clear in the top of the dispenser housing with a piece of wire or similar.
This should solve the problem.

THE FABRIC SOFTNER DRAWER IS ALWAYS FULL OF WATER ON OUR TRICITY BENDIX 1000 WASHING MACHINE

This is usually because the fabric softner draw is prone to colgging due to a build up of gunk in the holes that drain the softner into the machine at the appropriate time. Remove the drawert (There is usually a thumb press release at the back of the drawer you will see if you pull it out as far as you can.
After removal, wash the drawer all over (paying particular attention to the bottom of the drawer). If you have a garden hose, take the drawer outside after you have cleaned it and turn the hose on, full belt, and blast out all the waterways in the drawer to make sure they are clear. Refit the drawer and this should sort out the problem

Fabric Softner

that is normal you can either add water to make it drain or pull out the drawer and dump it.

I have a Bosch WFF 1401. I removed the drawer as I sometimes do to clean it. Since I replaced the drawer the softner section is always filled with water and never empties.

There can be 2 reasons. The centre section dispenses the fabric softener in the last rinse. It works on a syphon effect.
If it is not assembled correctly the water flows over the side to avoid a flood and leaves the middle section full at the end. Make sure the inner pipe is inside the outer pipe and that both are completely clear of softener residue. As you have just reassembled it this is the most likely cause.
The second reason is the water inlet can become blocked therefore not creating sufficient flow to create a syphon effect. It gets blocked with black gunk and needs to be cleaned with pipe cleaners or a long cable tie. There are 4 rectangular holes above the centre section, near the front. They can be seen easily if you take the drawer out.

Hope this helps

Clogged fabric Softener

I had the same issue, and ran vinegar through the fabric dispenser with a load of towels. Not only did it solve the 'sour towel' problem I had with that load, it also cleared my fabric softener section. Now, I water down all fabric softner when I use it, which is less frequently!
