Hi, i bought a modified PS2. everything is going perfect on teh normal TVs but on Plasma screens, with some games it gives only black and white colors, games like F1 racing and WRC rally racing. however some others, works normal even on plasma screen. These F1 racong and WRC work very normal on normal TV.. Can you please explain what is the reason and the solution for that

hey it is due to the model of your ps2 and your game is PAL and your TV is NTSC or the other way then it would give you black and white screen.the model of ps2 is written on its back side if both your tv set and game and ps2 are pal then there might be a problem with your ps2 av cable or ps2 itself
You need to buy those games which says PAL on it...Usually they have those PAL indications on the top right corner of the CASE of the DVD...of course you won't be able to play those NTSC games...it's just a compatibility issue, i think...cause your PS2 is a PAL model...

The PS2 console is capable of playing the following. PS1 games with Black media, CD, CDR, PS2 silver back media. PS2 Blue backed media, PS2 Gold backed media, and DVD. I am not sure if will play DVDR.
