I have a Kenmore Side by Side refrigerator Model # 536323. Recently, my ice maker just stopped working and I just noticed, after trying to turn it off then on, that the red light next to the on/off switch is blinking. Does anyone know what this light is for and if it is telling me what is wrong? I regularly change my filter and I am still getting cold water coming out. HELP!!! I have a Kenmore Side by Side model number 56532400 and my ice maker has stopped working. The red light located above the on/off switch is constantly blinking. I have changed the water filter, checked the water line and still no ice is being produced. The water dispenser works just fine, does any one know why the ice maker has stopped and how to resolve if possible with out placing a service call. Any assistance would be appreciated.
I contacted Sears repair service and had the Ice maker and control panel replaced.

I have the same refrigerator and the same problem with the ice maker and blinking light.
I have the same problem with my Kenmore side-by-side 536323. No water is being dispensed to ice making tray. I can dispense water at the front door on the freezer door. The red light blinks as well when I open the freezer door.
