Picture size I bought a Protron 32 inch flat panel TV for Christmass and the picture is the regular 24 inch. Is there something on the TV or remote control I need to do to get the full picture? PS. I have miss placed the instruction manual

It would be on the TV remote usually for "pic size/resolution" You can probably find the resolution settings in the picture menu. 4:3, theater wide, etc.

this is because any ic of the chip set of your tv had go loosed up

PLTV-32- Picture on screen is larger than TV screen.

if you have HD cable try shrinking the picture there. LCD's are not subject to 'bloom' like
analog tvs. try the aspect button on the remote.

wrong picture size on a digital tv is a result of the input signal.

If you have Directv as a provider, the answer is quite simple. Just click on the menu button on the remote and press "setup". From there go to HDTV which will give you options for 4:3, which is the standard screen size and 16:9 which represents widescreen. Follow the steps for resolution etc., from there.
