Internet TV indicates previously accessible youtube clips are now disconnected and search function will not pick them up. Only those listed as most watched or rising by the app can be viewed and previous history or searching results in a disconnected notice. About 4 weeks back it all came right again after a whole year of denied access but after a few days reverted to form. A web search indicates this is occuring globally and effects Sony TVs too. I have been in touch with Samsung and supplied the model and part numbers and also Google but there is no communication now and Samsung say its Googles problem. I wonder if its deliberate to prevent TV access to Youtube as it probably coincides with ads appearing on every Youtube and maybe Samsung prevent this.

Solution that worked for me:
Beware: Although the process should be safe, it technically voids your warranty.
Enter the service menu:
1 - turn of tv with remote
2 - press and release in the following order on the remote: Info, Menu, Mute. Make sure remote is pointing at the tv
3 - turn on the tv from the remote
4 - you will see the service menu. using the down arrow on the remote
select the Reset option. Using the right arrow button at this point
will do a hard reset.
5 - Wait a few seconds, turn TV on
6 - you will have to rescan analogue and digital channel but it should be working now.

The problem can be caused by either a Bad Main bd or a Bad Power Supply bd. Those two boards are the common failures. Other boards that can cause this are the T-Con bd and the Inverter bds.. To determine if your tv is in or out of warranty you need to look at your tv Purchase Receipt and see what the Purchase date is. Samsung gives you a One Year parts and labor warranty from the date of purchase on your set. You can also call 1-800-Samsung for more assistance.

Maybe the backlight is out, can you see a picture when shining a flashlight on the screen. if yes you have either a bad inverter power supply or bad screen (panel).

I'm running into the exact same problem with mine. I bought mine in November of 08 and it looks horrible. I got on the phone with Samsung 3 months ago and the follow up from this company is regrettably horrific. I've spoken to 8 different people including that of the special assistance team to no avail. Its a shame that we have to deal with this and its even more shameful to think that Samsung has the ability to fix it however they choose not to. For the amount of money it will take to fix this I might as well buy a new tv! Disgraceful and Samsung should be ashamed. I know that the 720P is on the warranty list, why isn't ours?
