You can check the inside door chart, and it will map out the led light readout for you. just follow the instructions on the panel and it will tell you possible problems and what you may need to fix to make your unit run correctly.

SOURCE: 2 Rheem Protech 500 thermostats, 1 upstair & 1

Have you checked to make sure that all of the supply registers are open, the air filter is clean and nothing is blocking the return air grill?
It almost sounds like you could be cycling on a limit switch.
Usually on gas furnaces, the blower is controled by the onboard controls, in the cooling mode the thermostat will control the blower.
I would be looking past the thermostat, at the furnace it self.
I hope you find this helpful. If you continue to experience problems, please let us know and we will dig deeper. :)

SOURCE: have a rheem 90 plus gas furnace, the problem is

Trunthe fan from the automatic position to the on position, if the blower does not come on then you
might have a relay problem. The relay is built into the
board, you may have to replace the board.

SOURCE: Have a rheem 90 plus gas furnace the problem is

At your thermostat turn the fan from auto to on, if the blower motor still does not come on, down at the furnace remove the blower door, turn power off first. Locate the blower motor leads, switch the cool lead which is usually black with the blue wire which is usually medium high.
Make sure while you are at it to see if the blower motor will turn by hand. Put door back on turn on power, leave the fan switch to `on` still. Blower should turn on. If not then either the blower motor is either burned out or you have a line/lolw voltage wiring problem.
You did not state if the outdoor ubit was operating, that will make it easier to troubleshoot.

Rheem furnace ,2nd green light blinks 5 times then pauses. I have only 1 furnace, not a twin

5 flashes is a "neutral polarity failure".
on the motor:
White is the neutral and must be plugged in to one of the 3 neutral slots on the control board (usually on the left side of the board)
The other 4 wires (black, red, yellow, brown) are power to the motor and should be connected to the appropriate pins on the control board.

My rheem cri II furnace will not work unless I turn the gas valve knob from on to off and back. The green led light is blinking then solid when I reset knob. Any ideas?

The green light is flashing an error code. When you turn the knob off and back on you are resetting the safety. Look for the number of blinks in a row. Then find the legend for codes on gas valve or on furnace. When is the last time you changed the air filter? A dirty filter can cause this problem.

No heat and I'm cold.

Do you have the code reference on your furnace door? If so what does it say? The furnace has locked itself out, and we need to determine what in the world it needs..
