If ur machine have additives cycle, check whether the solenoid valve (for opening water inlet to the additives' tray) is working or not. You can check this by listening to the sound of water during additive cycle. If it is not working, you have to replace the water inlet valve unit.

Sounds like motor not running is this due to belt off/ or motor brushes worn or actual motor burned out ? Try the abc to find out. good luck.

SOURCE: programmer sticks before the spin cycle (number 5

Prog jumps as it will carry out 1st command selected unless reset.the sticking could be a faulty water solonoid valve if this happens say during softner fill although could also be the timer /programmer at fault

SOURCE: Does the control Knob turn

It appears your timer has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

Oko 72630. Why is it stuck on rinse cycle?

Could be several reasons:
- Selected the "Night cycle" program (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: too much noise in the spin cycle)
- Set to the "Rinse hold" (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: wrinkles on the clothes)

According to your description I think that this is not a failure otherwise error E20 will be appears on display.

Once the washing programme has come to an end, END illuminates on the programme progress display.
If RINSE HOLD was selected, the display beside the START/ PAUSE button flashes.
1. After a rinse hold, the water must first be pumped out:
- Either press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun according to the completed programme;
After the START/PAUSE button is pressed again, the spin speed can still also be changed during spinning), or
- Turn the programme selector to PUMP OUT and press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out without spinning),or
- Turn the programme selector to SPIN or SHORT SPIN and press theSTART/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun or gently spun).
At the end of this programme step, the END indicator will illuminate.
2. Open the door.
As soon as the DOOR indicator lights up green, the door can be opened.

So the lights are numbered from left to right 128--64--32--16-- 8-- 4--2--1. now with this information look at the lights that are lit add up the value of the lit lights and reply back and i will look in my service manual and tell you what part or parts are faulty. hope this helps.

Cancel programme, maybe you have an 'end of cycle' button. Switch machine off & take off plug from the wall socket for 15 minutes. Re-start programme with 'spin only', to rinse out your clothes.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
