No sound from tv speakers

Have you checked to make sure you don't have anything plugged into an audio out port? Or have the speakers turned off in the system menu? I'd start there before pulling the TV apart and manually checking the speakers.

How to hook up cable box, dvd player, and tv, to the home theatre system

Instructions things you'll need:
  • Composite video cable
  • TV
    • 1 Place the front left and right speakers on each side of the TV with the speaker labeled "Center" either above or below the TV screen. Set the rear speakers behind the seating area at head level and place the subwoofer on the floor a few inches away from the wall, which can absorb bass sounds if the sub is pressed against it.
    • 2 Connect the plug on the end of each speaker to the jack labeled for that speaker on the back of the Durabrand receiver. The cables are permanently attached to the speakers, so each may need to be moved closer to the receiver. For example, the left front speaker connects to the jack on the receiver labeled "LF."
    • 3 Plug the video cable from the Video OUT jack on the back of the receiver to a Video Input jack on the back of the TV.
    • 4 Plug in the Durabrand receiver and TV to the electricity and switch on both components.
    • 5 Press the "Input" button on the TV remote several times until the Durabrand signal displays on the screen.

When we turn on tv it shut down right away we think it could be the lamp light what else can it be?

Try muting the sound on the tv, if it is a loose circuit the sound vibration can jiggle a connection and cause the tv to turn off as apart of its safety feature.

if the tv functions correctly while in mute then you now know it is a loose circuit.

if the tv continues to turn off even while in mute it is shutting down by the main power stand by safety feature, it may need a new main transformer.

if the muted sound solved the problem then unplug the tv and look in the back for the main transformer, the manufacturer usually places the main board on the box of the main speaker, the speaker could be vibrating a circuit loose from direct contact, the main transformer is heavy and would cause issues over the long run with high fadelity sound systems on big screen tv's. check solder points on main board.

I have an RCA rear projection TV with a dead fly behind the screen, how do I get it out?

pop the speaker grill off, then take out the 1/4 inch screws and remove the screen, if it's behind the screen, simply brust it away, if it's between the 2 screens, then you must take them apart and remove the body. also while your in there, clean the lenses and mirror with some windex, this will greatly improve your picture.

My panosonic lcd tv has devepoped multiple bright colorspots

This is caused by magnetic fields. Either the speakers of tv is faulty or demagnatziser not working. Switch of tv and remove powercord from wallsockets. Leave for about 10 hours and plug in powercord and switch on. if demagnatiszr is working the blue will be gone. if not have youre tv demagnetized

If hometheatre or radio speakers are closer than ½ meter this could also generate coulouration of screen. move speakers further away. If tv is on and and being moved your static electricity can also cause this. So switch of if if you move your tv.

Samsung hc-p4252w - yellow tinge on left side of screen

If you put magnet speaker ( Standard speaker) near the TV, first you must move that speaker away from your TV because this will cause your colour TV screen color scattered. Then switch off your TV for 5 hrs. then switch it ON again your problem will be solved if the degaussing coil working.

Color spots on panasonic projection screen

The light engine may be dirty with dust, the polarizer filter burned, or the LCD elements burned.

As a last-ditch effort, the light engine can be taken apart and carefully cleaned using compressed air.
