I was just texting and my phone just stoped working the words got all warped and then the screen went white. i turned it off and back on. still white. i took out the battery then put it back in. still white. its really frustrating because all my friends have had the same problem.
It has something to do with a cable that connects from your keypad to the rest of the phone. If you bring this back to the place that you got it at, they should be able to get it fixed. I know I asked about it when I bought mine, and they said that they don't have the cables there yet, so they would have to send the phone away to get it fixed.

same exact problem with me.
Midway through an outgoing text the screen faded from top 2 bottom to just white. turned off and removed battery...still white.keypad periodically lights up and signal lights on side of screen flash sometimes.
I had my phone in my pocket working fine. (the keypad and volume buttons hasn't been working for a month though) Then I got a text so I clicked to read it and the screen was white with two black dots on it, as if it had fallen and broken.
I'm getting really annoyed at the phone, I got it about 6 months ago.

My screen would go in and out from normal, then back to white. Sometimes when i would press between the END key and the circle navigator I was able to get the screen back, but not anymore. Its getting worse and worse. Now it just keeps turning off and back on again. Is it the firmwire? Is Sprint really replacing them for free? I have insurance through altell (i think?) and i've had the same model replaced 3 times for various malfunctions, and they are still charging

Same deal, I have two rumors and one of them just went "White Screen" out of nowhere. I am sure I am screwed out of the warranty, but if this is something that is happening to alot of them, it should be addressed by LG.
