Here are steps to change paper in Sanders & Sanding Blocks
Step 1 - Lift Front Clamp:
A finishing block sander will have two clamps--one on the front and the other in the rear--and are usually spring operated. Release the front clamp and remove the old paper. Insert the new paper until it hits the spring posts at the back clamp. Make sure it is even with the mounting plate on top of the block.
Step 2 - Fold Paper:
Fold the paper under the plate and clamp, holding the back end down tightly to pull the front end as far as you can to eliminate slack. Secure the front clamp.
Step 3 - Release the Back Clamp:
With the front clamp secure, release the back clamp. This will create slack once again in the paper.
Step 4 - Secure Back:
Now, fold the end of the paper under the plate and clamp, pulling it tightly. Then, press down firmly.

Power Sander:
Replacing a 1/4 sheet sandpaper for a power sander is similar to the process listed above above except you have a little more flexibility in managing the paper.
Step 1 - Clamp an End:
Make sure the sander is not connected to a power source when adding paper. Open 1 end and insert the sheet evenly into the area between the clamp and sander surface. Clamp it shut.
Step 2 - Bend Paper:
Bend the paper so the fee end can be inserted under the arm at the other side of the sander.
Step 3 - Stretch Paper:
Stretch the paper as much as you can before inserting it under the "hold-down" arm. Make sure to get it as tight as possible and push the end in as far as possible. Getting the paper tight is the most important part of the process.

I used a four inch "C" clamp and a large washer about diameter of back, to get my Timex back snapped back on. Place the watch face side down on a flat surface cushioning the crystal with soft rubbery material like shelf liner or anti skid material used under rugs (the kind used to also line tool chest drawers - black). Place the washer between the watch back plate and the "C" clamp screw plate. Align the back plate of the Timex as evenly on watch as possible while gradually tightening the "C" clamp. Keep turning down the "C" clamp ever so slowly until you hear the plate snap back on.

restart your computer. on boot it will say press del for bios. do that. in case it enters the bios menu then keyboard is fine. probably some virus in windows. if not then your keyboard is damaged.

By retention plate do you mean the handle that locks the CPU in place.?
if that is the problem there you can not replace it HOWEVER you can still use the motherboard.

note that the CPU socket is a two section structure on top of each other. after inserting the processor you can slide the two section together to hold the CPU. you have to glue the two section together to make it stay in place.
the draw back is that you probably will not be able to upgrade the CPU in future because of the glue.

1. Remove all originals from the document feeder tray.
   NOTE: It might be easier to work with the automatic document feeder if the document feeder tray is removed first.
2. Lift the cover of the automatic document feeder. Figure 1: Lifting the ADF cover
3. Lift the lid on the HP all-in-one, and locate the notch near the top right edge of the lid backing. Figure 2: Locating the notch near the lid backing 1 - Notch 2 - Lid backing
4. Place one or two fingers in the notch, as you lower the lid of the HP all-in-one. Keep your fingers in the notch until the lid is almost closed. Figure 3: Inserting fingers into the notch
5. Push against the top of the face plate with your thumb as you pull the bottom away from the right side of the HP all-in-one with your fingers. Use a slight twisting motion to help release the face plate on the right side.
   CAUTION: Do not pull the face plate all the way off yet. There is a plastic catch on the far left inside of the face plate that helps secure the face plate in place. If the face plate is pulled straight off, the plastic catch on the inside of the face plate might be damaged. 6. Slide the face plate to the left until the plastic catch on the left side is not touching any part of the HP all-in-one, then pull the face plate away from the device. Cleaning the rollers or separator pad Follow the steps below to clean the rollers or separator pad.

1. Once the face plate of the ADF is removed, use the blue-green handle to lift the pick assembly. 2. Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with distilled water, then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth.
3. Use the damp cloth to wipe any residue off of the rollers or the separator pad.
4. If the residue does not come off using distilled water, try using isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol.
5. Use the blue-green handle to lower the pick assembly.

Reattaching the face plate of the ADF Follow the steps below to reattach the face plate to the front of the automatic document feeder.

1. Hook the face plate onto the left side of the HP all-in-one so that the plastic catch on the far left inside of the face plate catches on the notch on the front of the automatic document feeder. Figure 8: Hooking the face plate into the left side of the HP all-in-one 1 - Notch 2 - Plastic catch
2. Line up the right edge of the face plate with the right side of the HP all-in-one, and then press on the right side of the face plate until it snaps securely into place. Figure 9: Snapping the face plate into the right side of the HP all-in-one
3. Place your hands towards the center of the face plate, and press until the center of the face plate snaps into place. You should hear two clicks; one when the left side snaps into place, and one when the right side snaps into place. Figure 10: Finishing re-attaching the face plate
4. Close the cover of the automatic document feeder.
5. If you removed the document feeder tray, reattach it.

around the trim on face on panel

I'm not totally sure about the La Sabre, but there should be trim screws that hold the Dash face plate in place. There are three on the top portion of the face plate, and I think three on the bottom . The face plate extends from Light switch on left to radio on right. You may have to tilt the steering wheel column down to remove the face plate from around the steering wheel. From what I remember, the only thing that needs to be unplugged from the face plate is the plug for the rear defroster. Also, there are clips that hold the face plate in place. They just push in and out. Once the face plate is off, you can get to the radio mounting screws.

This is actually a common problem with more than just that radio. Sometimes the pins on the back of the face plate need to be cleaned. Take the face plate off, take a Q-tip and dip it lightly in some rubbing alcohol. Then use that to clean the metal pins on the back of the face plate. Make sure it is completely dry before you place the face plate back on. If this does not work, your better off replacing the whole thing.

that hole on that model is for a locking screw, the locking screw is installed to minimize theft and for other precautions. If the face plate is having any odd reactions its normally do to the flex cable. The best sign for a dying or dead flex cable is at the joint. The joint can be viewed at the point when you remove the face plate. Immediately after pulling the face plate off look behind the pivoting frame at the orange colored ribbon, you should only be able to see a small portion of it. If there is any sign of a yellowy residue its a sign that the protective covering of the ribbon is deteriorating. A bad flex cable is everything on the moving face plates.

The face plate is removed by inserting your fingernail under the silver plate in the center top of faceplate.It pulls out quite easily. Rob
