Washer will not drain on regular cycle

We had to move the washer to the left hand side when we purchased the matching dryer. now that it is moved over 3 feet, it will not drain on the regular wash cycle and you must add the drain/spin cycle after the normal cycle to empty the water. was working great prior, no real change in the hose position, and why would it work in one function but not in the other if it was a hose problem?

The problem is certainly related to drain hose and or outlet connection.
Make sure it is not trapped or kinked behind the washer.
Changing the position of the washer could esily have caused the hose to twist and restrict the outflow of water.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks,
r.

Hi, I am trying to help daughter-in-law get their

Hello annp, thank you for your post! Based on the symptoms you are describing, it does sounds like a siphoning issue. Generally speaking, the drain hose should come up above the washer tub and please make sure the drain hose is not too deep in to the house drain pipe. The drain hose should only be submerged 4-8 inches into the house drain pipe. If correct, otherwise the unit might be experiencing a communication with the control board and water fill valve. At this point, please reach out to an expert technician to ensure the appropriate replacement part is ordered and is installed correctly to prevent future issues. I hope this information helps to some degree - please do not hesitate to reconnect.

Wash machine sometimes gets stuck on rinse cycle & dryer not dry

Sounds like the drain hose for the washer is too far down in the stand pipe at the wall causing a siphon effect, try raising drain hose a little. The dryer sounds like the vent line from back of dryer too wall is pinched causing an air flow obstruction. Hope this helps.

Washer door opens with hinges on the left

Don't you think it would really boost sales if you did make a washer that the front loader door could open left to right . For homes that have very limited laundry room. and no way to switch.

Loud spin, doesn't fill, dial doesn't move.

yes you do have to remove the top off the washer and the washer should come with a mounting kit that must be used when stacking this unit. as far as your filling and draining problem i have had this problem several times before you have to replace your speed control board or sometimes called the speed control unit in the lower right hand corner of your washer
