I can help solve this fiasco , opening the unit while its running to stop it is not good to do because it will wear the door switches due to the load of power the unit uses while running the switches are not made to cycle the unit.
2nd there is radiation in the unit and around the unit while running so you should not reach in inside the unit immediately when stopped , give it a few seconds. Some commercial microwaves have an un-safe level of radiation 20+ feet away from the unit.
Most likely why they always get the order wrong.
Hope this helps.

Phil

Why is the microwave running without being turned on?

These above range microwaves "hoods" automatically turn on a cooling fan even when the microwave is not in use. If you read the manuals you will see warnings about the fans automatically starting. Even when the microwave is not in use opening the door likely interrupts the power to the automatic cooling fan.

Delonghi oven, magnetron working always, not stopping when you open the door

Sounds like one of the interlock switches(most microwaves have 3) is stuck or broken. The "hooks" on the door latch push these switches in when you close it.Take the cover off and you should be able to tell which one isn't working right.

Sharp R-520KS - When the door is opened, the light and fan comes on and the carousel rotates. I don't know if microwaves are emitted. How can I stop the fan from coming on and the carousel from...

You can tell if microwaves are being emitted if you get warm standing in front of it (seriously). But I wouldn't recommend that unless you want to cook yourself.

First thing that comes to mind is the door interlocks are out of adjustment or bad. Home microwave ovens are not supposed to operate like that. Some commercial models start the fan right away and run it after the cooking cycle is completed but I've never heard of a consumer model that does that.

Find your closest servicer here and have them take a look.

Model R-1460, when I shut the door it runs but doesn't heat up. What needs to be done to fix it?

Do you mean that when you close the door, the fan comes on? If so, it sounds like a bad door switch. Probably the secondary interlock switch.
This failure is caused by opening the door when the unit is in cook mode. On ALL microwaves, not just one or two brands.......
Be sure to push the stop button before opening the door to add or stir... Or wait for the cook cycle to end. (This is why microwaves have a two step function on the stop/clear button. Hit stop once to stop cook mode and twice to reset timer).
You should use an ohm meter to check all 3 switches. The switch can be either stuck 'closed' or physically closed but not 'making' electrically.

Microwave stopped working all of a sudden. NO power supply. I tried placing at different places. But no use..I ddidn't see any problem before it stopped working..

the most common problem with microwaves is the door protection circuit blows a fuse. the door catches operate switch that if they do not operate correctly( normally after the door has been slammed). the good part is they place the fuse inside the casing. so remove the power open the casing( several screws) and check all the fuses in side.

Microwave shuts off by itself

The microwave has a safety door switches (2-3 micro switches)
The door mechanism should hit these micro switches. If you can open the machine, you can see that these micro switch has a holder that you can adjust and tighten to make sure that the hook of the door should activate them.

Wolf - microwave oven not turnin ON

This is usually caused by either a bad door switch, a loose door switch mount (which are pretty simple problems to fix) or occasionally a problem on the control panel.

Even though a door switch clicks, it may still be bad inside.

Door switch or mount trouble can be caused by slamming the door or by opening the door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first.

There are plastic mounts inside the microwave which hold the door switches and onto which the door latches lock when you close the door.

The screws on these mounts may be loose. If they get too loose, the switches will not be activated properly.

Sometimes it's a broken tab on the switch holder, allowing the switch to rotate just out of position. This tab can be hard to see, since it is under the bottom edge of the switch.

If you or someone you know decide to look into it, we have critical information on safety, disassembly and door switches at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa:.

If you think the problem is on the control panel, we repair these nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in most cases.

Turntable Problem

If it jumps or moves just a little when you open the door, that is normal. It it actually runs, then you have a problem. Quite often this is due to a bad door switch. Opening the door while cooking (without first hitting the STOP button) is the primary cause of door switch failure. You can visit my Web site at _ or e-mail at _ if you'd like more in information on diagnosing and repairing this problem.
