Kenmore glass cooktop discoloured

There are a number of very dark, discoloured spots on the cooktop. These are NOT baked on spots, but actually at/below the surface. I've used the recommended commercial cleaner, plus I've tried a paste of baking soda and vinegar, but without any improvement. How do I get these dark spots out?

Thanks, I use a razor on anything stubborn on the surface, but these discolorations are embedded.

The F-3 is a bad sensor. Check the sensor. 1100 ohms at room temp. If open, shorted to frame or out of speck it is bad. themobilian_362.jpgthemobilian_363.jpg
Sample picture I had on hand. Yours may be in a diff spot but at least you know what to look for.

Glass cooktop keeps cracking in same area

The cooktop box has a metal flange. Make sure the cooktop when dropped into the countertop is resting on ther metal flange and not the glass edge by itself. If it rests on the glass alone the weight will cause the glass to crack at some point in time.
