Audo/sound problems for 3004WLCI laptops

I seem to have problems with my audio. Anything that gets played wether on the net or in the dvd/cd sounds as if it's sped up. Everything sounds like a version of Alvin and the Chipmunks. How do I correct this? I've tried to restore all factory defaults but it is still happening.

How to copy CD from Laptop to empty cd

Sounds like you made a data disk with MP3s and not an audio cd.

To play on a "regular" CD player, you should burn an audio cd.

Different burning programs have different options for this.

the problem is with the CDs (may be scratched ones or corrupt audio files in the CD)!

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY SOUND AND FOR THAT MATTER I CAN NOT PLAY AY MUSIC OR CD ON MY LAPTOP WITH MODEL AWRDACPI. IT IS AS IF THERE IS NO SOUND DRIVERS ON SYSTEM.HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM.

1: check wether you have muted or otherwise disabled sound through software.
2: Check all your sound-related cables
3: reinstall driver
4: check motherboard connection.

No sound when playing DVD

Hi there
Update the audio codecs from here:

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/codec.htm

install the codecs then try to play your DVD, if you still have no sound reboot the PC and try again, if still no luck please post back

sound muting circuitery prblem or sound swiching section problem can occure this type fault.sometimes it can be cd /dvd printed board problem.give it to qulifid technician .
