My parents just got a car with a Pioneer avic-drz90 installed in it. It asks to insert a disc. where can I find this disc??

i have a toyota feilder with this same player and it ask me the same thing so i took the information off and send it to a supplier based in japan you can contact on [email protected] they will source this disk for you

AVIC N2 WONT READ MY NAV DISC,WHEN I PUSH MY MENU BUTTON IT SAYS INSERT APPROPRIATE DISC, NOT SURE WHAT DISC IT WHANTS

The nav discs come in a set of two. Disc 1 and Disc 2. Insert disc 1 first, if unit does not respond or read nav disc, then you may have a bad copy of the nav disc or incorrect copy.

Do you have the right navi disc. Because once you upgrade to newer version then when you put in an older version it will tell you to insert the appropriate disc. You need to downgrade it if you want to go back to older versions. Let me know if you need help on how to downgrade. Goodluck.

Hi check your navigation disc for dust, dirt, damage.
if disc is good, you might like to try running a dvd cleaner in the unit, the avic has a fan that sucks in dust from the car, and this coates the cd lens.

we can service the unit for £45.00 plus return postage @ £10.00 (uk mainland)

AVIC-N1 wont read navigation disc

If your error message is reading "insert appropriate disk" or "inappropriate disk inserted" than I have the solution. Can you just let me know exactly what the message is?

I have a pioneer carrozzeria AVIC-DVR150 % can't get it to work without the original boot disc, which I don't have. I can't even find a free download just so I can get it working as I bought it off a friend. Anyway, does anyone please have the software they can send me so I can put it onto a disc myself. You can reset your DVD recorder by:
Making sure that the recorder is on and that the disc tray is empty
Using the front panel controls, press and hold STOP and press STANDBY/ON.
The recorder will turn off and all settings will be re-set.
