Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 Printer Logo
Cesar Armando Posted on Nov 14, 2012

I have 4 GS6000 two of them are printing 1/8 or 1/4 bigger than the size shows in PhotoShop. Does anyone have any idea why?

I've updated the firmware, register the product, go lower and upper with the RIP versions (Color Burst) and also i did connect the printer using USB and Ethernet. This is driving me crazy. Please Help

First make sure there really is no invisible spacing around the images that are loaded to ONYX, Colorburst, whichever you use.
Is the media you are printing being fed to a take-up-reel, and are you using a tension bar? These all are likely causes. This problem is printer side I'm positive. I have 2 Epson GS6000 printers myself, and this happens often where after printing for a few days the sizes might start increasing.
You may need to go to the printer settings:
PAPER SETUP - PAPER FEED ADJUST - LINE FEED ADJUST
*It will then print some measuring lines that in my case are always close to 19 1/2 inches.
*You will also see on the display a option to adjust numbers
*If the sizes on both marks aren't exact 19 1/2 inches each, you need to add or subtract that amount, and then convert it to millimeters. This is the number you need to enter into the printer.
Press Enter on the printer to submit.
The next test print you do should be exact size you need.

Indoor unit fan blows, then stops etc. every 1-2 minutes

At least it is cooling properly. U might just want to call Mitsubishi and ask them if it is operating normally based on your observations.

Epson GS6000 llamada al servicio 1136

this is the carriage not releasing and thinks its a paperjam. it could be the release clip, cr motor, sensor or even the main board. I had the same problem.

first try to turn off, remove media. manually release and slid out the carriage to the middle. turn on and see it it clear the error.

We purchased this at a thrift store. Can you tell me what the ionizer setting is for

The ionizer cleans the air. If it's working properly, it will smell like the air right after a lightning storm. You should use as little as possible, based on the size of the area, you're using the unit in. Do not allow it to blow directly on you or anyone else. The higher you can place the unit, the better it will work. Match the fan speed to ionizer setting.

Hope this helped you.

I have an older model Flair unit. I took it apart to try and give it a good cleaning and noticed that there was a small glass bulb-looking part with one of the thin wires was broken. Of course the other...

It's attached to the pulse radio-wave ionizer. It comes on when the unit is on to show the radio wave is working. It's not needed and I've never seen a replacement but Radio Shack could probably help you replace it if you wanted.

Also make sure the safety interlock switch is properly closed when re-assembled. It's the springloaded switch inside the little notch in the chassis - the small tab on the lint screen should fit in and push that switch closed. If you do it wrong, the unit won't work. You should hear an audible click when the tab closes the switch.
