In ZPL using 128 Barcode coded this string >;99700160>7DJS>500000190102120300

The barcode above produced when scanned: 99700160000001901021203000 missing DJS
Zebra embedded characters in the string should of produced
99700160DJS000001901021203000
can you tell me why when sending the following string:
>;997000160>7DJS>500000190102120300 in the ^BCN (128 Barcode)
that I can not get the DJS to be printed out in the Barcode?
Zebra Documentation invocation commands:
>; -- start subset code C
>7 -- switch to subset code A
>5 -- switch to subset code C

SOURCE: I couldn't stay connected with Scott long enough to tell him anything

Hi there, unfortunately when a chat re-connects it will be taken by te first expert responding, I don't think there is any way to connect your chat.

If your chat was being successful, try contacting the user by answering his free question, or adding a comment to the chat thread on your profile.

You can also contact Lauren, [email protected] , but I think there is not much she can do either.

It scans 'k' at start with upc code

It sounds like the scanner has the Symbol Code ID character enabled and you are scanning a GS1-128 (formerly known as UCC/EAN 128) code. You can disable this by scanning the Symbol Code ID None barcode from Adobe page 211 of 460 (Chapter 12 page 3) of the LS9208 Product Reference Guide. https://atgsupportcentral.motorolasolutions.com/content/emb/docs/manuals/6083309a.pdf

MC9190 will not scan a certain barcode, but the MC9090 will, what could be the problem?

Hi,
Firstly you need to know exactly what 'symbology' or type of barcode you are trying to scan. E.G. 128CODE, ect.
Once you know this make sure 'DataWedge' is installed and go to the settings section of the software.ensure that the type of barcode you are printing is selected in the settings. After this is should work.

I'm inputing ASCII via RS232 would like barcode printout

You will need to send the data using ZPL or the printer won't recognize it , if you don't have experience in this area print through the Zebra Print Driver should work. In your application use Barcode 128 as the font and see how it goes
