SOURCE: Olympus FE 190 pictures are blurry
Check any adjustments that have to with resolution. Do they look more pixellated when you look at them on the computer. Or do the pictures look out of focus?
You should check under the Shooting guide #3 (blurring background) to see if this helps you.
If none of the settings (ISO settings, resolution, lighting, image stabilization mode) help you, contact HP next.
This camera, if I recall correctly, is a fairly basic camera. I would contact HP and see what they can do for you. Since the camera is close to the warranty period of one year, they should cover it under warranty.

Open the battery door and check the contact between the camera and the batteries. Most often then not there is just a bad contact and it's ruinning your baterry life.
Make sure that the contact are well placed and that there is no rust or dirt build up around there.

Your camera may be ok. Every and each camera has different reactions to a battery condition depending on the design of the circuit. Your battery may work ok on the other camera but this camera needs more juice (assuming the camera is working ok). If the camera demanding more power from the battery, try the rechargable batteries. Hope this helps. -James

SOURCE: Olympus battery charger flashes red when battery is inserted.
@gminvite1
"Another way I found was when this happens, to push the battery to the
point the light will turn on, when it starts flashing slide it off then
back on. Do this a few times so it charges a little, then you should be
fine to leave it on."
I tried to do this with my LI-10C Olympus charger and it worked..The blinking red light turns to solid red..Thanks for the info...Now I won't be bothering to buy a new batt.or have my charger checked..
