I have an HP Ipaq 110. In an unfortunate incident, the screen was damaged badly enough that it no longer displays anything, but the machine otherwise appears to work. However, when I tried to use ActiveSync to sync up Outlook 2007's calendar with the Ipaq (as not to lose all my appointments when I replace it), it transferred only *some* of my recent appointments, and many were missed for some weird reason. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Usually the simplest solution with Microsoft software such as active-sync is to uninstall it and install it again from scratch. When you reinstall it will ask you what programs you want to sync with, your old PIM software has been lowered in priority in favour of Outlook because MS think everyone should want to use it, so it's often easier to start using Outlook as your main PIM.
SOURCE: Sync problem with Outlook Public calendar
Hi Brad,
By default, it won't sync the company shared calendar. This is in fact very hard to do. You will need to speak the guys in your IT department about a product to sync your calendar with the company one. If you use Exchange server, then you may wish to look towards a product such as 'SlipStick'...

Just to make clear, I don't have categories enabled on ActiveSync (or, at any rate, the option never pops up), so it's not that.
