Just set up my new xbox 360. My TV is not HD and I have an antenna and hd converter box. Which does not seem to connect to the xbox console in any way. It seems like my wireless device linked up but I have no Menu screen when the console is turned on.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem might be, but if you try turning off the x-box and looking at the back, the A/V cables that come out of the back (shaped like a trapezoid where you plug it in) and they should be plugged into your TV.

If your TV uses the Red, White, and Yellow cable side, make sure the switch on the other end of the cable where it plugs into the back of the x-box is switched to "TV".

If your TV has component input "Red, Blue, and Green" make sure you switch it to "HDTV" and you'll also have to connect the red and white (left and right) audio cables.

Your HDTV digital tuner/antenna probably won't be the place to connect them.

If you do not have either cable setups on the back of your TV, you may have to go to an electronics store and purchase an A/V converter box or connector. They are not too expensive.

If you have a little extra cash to spend, I'd recommend getting a decent size LCD flat panel HDTV. Just make sure you NEVER buy a PLASMA screen to play VIDEO GAMES on (video games will destroy the screen and leave you with burn-in or ghosting). Although they are nice for movies and slightly cheaper.

Your XBOX should have come with a set of yellow, red, and white wires (collectively known as RCA connectors) If you have no way to connect these, then you must make sure you're xbox is configured to put out HD video on a television that is able to accept the RCA outputs. By default the XBOX360 is configured for standard definition video output the last I heard. (Standard NTSC in the states)
