My phone says sim card rejected. It is the sim card that came with the phone.
Good evening sir, my mobile create a problem in which it display on the screen is sim card rejected.
my sim card is saying its rejected. it happened after I tried to change my security password. its a net 10 phone 1600 nokia
I tried to change the security settings on my phone and it asked for the PUK number. Every time I tried to type it in it asked me to change it. Then my friend took out my sim card and then put it back in my phone. When he put it back in it said sim card rejected.

you can solve your problem easily,your uim card which is rejected by sim :firstly your uim card insert correctly or not secondly your sim card placed correctly or not if not both you insert the card correctly otherwise your must be phone off because sometimes phone hanged.
this happens when ur sim cant establish registration with the preffered networkk . this is not a phone problem . ur sim card may not hve been used for long time (recharging account) . please contact the nearest office of ur network provider
this happen if there is some problem in the sim card holder port ....
there
will be loose contact inside the sim card holder is not touching the
circuit board inside due to this your sim card is getting rejected ...
as
you have told that the phone is a brand new one so i am sure that you
will be having the warranty so just make use of it by contact the
dealer with whom you have purchased or contacting the company customer
care number to get more information about how to make use of your
warranty ......
if you dont have the warranty then you must open the handset and
just remove the circuit board & sim card holder and insert it again
so that the sim card holder touches the circuit board correctly ... after this refit the phone then surely your sim will be accepted ....

you just open the handset & set that sim card holder to touch the
circuit board that s enough everything will be done and works fine ...

Try inserting the sim card in another phone. If it still doesn't work, the problem could really be with the sim card. Go to your service provider, and request for your sim card number transfered to another sim card. That is if you wanna keep the same number. You could request for another sim card if you'd like. Call your service provider.
