Keypad Problem? Upon plugging in the microwave, you get flashing zeros on the clock/timer display. You can initially input an amount of time after pressing the cook button. Upon pressing the start button you get no light, no microwave sound, and no timer countdown. If you decide to set the clock after plugging in the microwave, you will get 'Err' displayed on the clock/timer. I thank you in advance for your attention in this matter.

Reset the clock. Press "Clock" and the correct time, using the number pads. Press "AM/PM" if applicable, and press "Start" or "Clock" to confirm.

2 Press "Timer On/Off" to reset the timer if nothing on the touch pad will operate. Use the number pads to select a new timed amount, if desired, and press "Timer On/Off" to start. Press again to cancel.

3 Press and hold "Clear/Off" for three seconds if the timer will not function or is blinking when you touch the pads. This will release the "Child Lock" feature. Make a new touch pad selection.

4 Disconnect power to the microwave if following Steps 1 through 3 does not resolve the blinking timer. Wait a few minutes, and then restore power to reset the microwave.

However if the problem persist the display board
main control board is faulty

According to the manual this is how to set clock.

Operating functions:
To set the clock, press and hold the clock/timer button for three seconds. A clock icon will appear on the left side of the screen. Input the time using the numerical buttons and then click the clock/timer button to save the time.
To set the timer, press and release the clock/timer button so that the display shows all zeroes. Enter the desired time using the keypad. Press start/stop to start the countdown. The countdown may be paused by pressing the stop/start button and resumed by pressing the same button again.
When countdown is complete, timer will beep continuously for thirty seconds and display will flash. Timer will then beep every ten seconds for ten minutes until the stop/start button is pressed.
This timer will also time up to time activities. To start count up, press clear/memory so timer reads all zeroes. Press stop/start and a plus sign will appear on the right side of the screen as the timer begins counting up.

normally you look for the clock ot watch icon. Pressing it once will give you the option for 24 hours setting. Press it twice and it will give you the opportunity to set to 12 hours setting. Using the no. keypad, punch in the time and then repress the clock icon again.

Hi Bryan... I had the same problem as you in trying to work out this blasted clock!!! - by fluke I worked it out!!
Here are the steps:
1 - press the 'clock' button (to ensure the clock is displayed) 2 - press the 'cancel' button (the display will go to zero '0' 3 - use the keypad to enter the time (at this stage the colen between the hour and minute numbers will not be flashing. 4 - press the 'clock' button again (the colon will start flashing and the time will be set.

This is the generic instructions to set the clock. I have visited the sanyo site to aquire a owners manual with no success in locating one. This being said, here are the instructions.

1. Unplug the unit for a minute then plug unit in.
2. Press the clock (clock/timer) button once.
3. Using the keypad, input the time you wish to set.
4. Press the clock (clock/timer) button once.
5. Press the stop/clear button, Time should remain.

Pressing "timer/clock" button 4 times turns on and off demo mode.

Do you know if the fuse blew again? You may have a problem with the powers supply section that powers the main board. The main board controls the display and receives input commands from the keypad.
