I replaced the motor and the gear box that feeds the wire. I also checked the speed control pot and the ohm reading seems to be fine.
SOURCE: NO WIRE FEED BUT WELDER CLICKING AS IF FEEDING
This could be caused by not enough pressure on the drive wheel. Try adjusting pressure as spelled out in you manual.

Speed control potentiometer is good place to look.
Put meter leads on it, set to ohms position and see if there is a variation in ohm values when rotating knob. If not it is bad. Take it out and spray it with panther ****, sorry, cleaning lubricate and see if that will fix it before buying new one.

you have a resistor down, first check the resistor on the centre pole then those going off to the two other pins
SOURCE: Wire feed runs at maximum speed
Ensure the set is upluged, then check coninuety? across centre tag and the left tag then the right tag, if this checks out OK then check the resisters close to the center tag. potentiometer are cheep enough, get a replacement from Tandy or RS spares.

If wire pushes your hand away when welding you need to do one of the following:
Reduce your wire speed, or increase the voltage.
