My new Samsung Galaxy S111 won't turn on

Sounds as if you will need to change the battery.

New battery time.

I have 2 sgh-m919 galaxy s4 s from TMobile. Both phones were randomly showing the message "sim card not detected restart" and phone would reboot.. sometime would have to reboot 2 or 3 times before i was normal. I tried many of the net poste solutions including paper on sim card, clear cache, new battery etc. Nothing worked

This week i was ready to buy a new phone.. but was sure the phone wasnt the problem. I started deleteing apps one at a time and found the problem. It is GOOGLE MAPS !!! G0 into settings / more / application manager / slide over to all/ down to Maps /clear cache/ uninstall updates / force stop. Then turn off phone and restart. When you go to use maps or waze again when it asks for permission "decline" it will still work and you wont see the sim not detected restart message again.. Google the words google maps crash or reboots and see how many phones crash. Galaxy s4 happen to have the dialog box that makes it appear to be a hardware problem! Googles motto use to be "First do no harm" please reply if this works for you

No that's not the problem its your Google+ setting you need to go in to your settings and turn off pic sharing in Google this should stop it I'm still working on getting the pics off my phone .

it maybe the problem with the port, goto mobile repairing shops and change the port with new one , it doesnt cost much..

1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.

The easiest solution is to take it to a Radioshack store. They have a machine that will transfer your contact at no charge. Or if you have a gmail account once you logon in with your new phone you can transfer the contacts that way also.

@nicole you have to make sure that your battery is charged before turn on if its doin the samething the just take your phone for flashing.
