I have a Maytag Model 7MMVWC310YW purchased in Mexico for our Mexican home. The washer does not have a water level select and obviously detects the amount of clothes and adjusts the water level. Is there any way to change or bypass? I feel that there is not enough water to adequately clean the clothes.

It sounds like you have the hot and cold water lines to the washer reversed.  Try turning off the tap for the hot water then setting the washer to just cold wash and then  hot washif you get nothing on the cold and cold water when set to hot they are probably reversed.  Typically if the auto-temp control is broken you will only get hot or cold coming out on any setting.

SOURCE: maytag washer overfilling

Easy fix. Do this: Remove the rubber tube coming from the bottom of the tub up to the water level switch right there at the switch itself. Blow through it to remove the sediment in the bottom of the tub so that air pressure from tub to switch will be kosher. Put the hose back on the water level switch tight and pump out any water in the machine.

SOURCE: Maytag Washer PAVT-1 continues filling with water to overflowing

Does it still do this with power to the machine off? If so it is your water fill valve. Because no power is getting to the valve it has to shut off unless some foreign particles are holding it open. Remove and replace the water fill valve if still runs water after power is off.

Here are some things on how the selector switches work: If it stops when you remove power look at these possibilities.

Water fill switches usually have an air tube that as the water level comes up the air pressure increases and causes the switch to go from fill to wash.
I have seen rodents chew holes in the air tubing and this could be the cause or you may have a bad switch.
Some times the switches also get out of calibration and need readjusting (especially if you have moved in altitude like up a mountain or into a valley).
If this helps you please rate me as high as possible.
If it doesnt help you please rediscribe your problem in more detail to help me understand, post back and I will follow up.

check to make sure the door is locking when it should. If the door isn't locking or sensing that its locked the washer will not go into high speed spin.

Why does the DVD player in my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder say invalid region?

Question edited for clarity.

It means the the car was imported from a different country. or that the DVD Player was bought in a different country to be retrofitted to a vehicle so that existing purchased DVDs can be played.

So, the car was originally bought in Mexico and sold in Canada. Only Mexican DVDs play.

or Car was bought in Canada, and the DVD Players was bought in Mexico so the Mexican family can play the DVDs they had at home.

It is called a Region Lock. Some are fixed, some can be changed once or twice.

What does F 20 mean and hoe do I fix it

For some Maytag front-load washers, the F20 error code means that no water was detected entering the machine or the water entered but didn't reach the fill level. There are several things that you can check that may solve the problem.

First, are the shut-off valves for the inlet hoses open? Next, do you have both the hot and cold water connected to the unit and open?

There are filters in the washer (before the fill valve) and in most hoses. Remove the hoses and check for clogs/debris. While you have the hoses off, check the flow rate of the water at the shut-off valves. Some anti-flood hoses will restrict the water flow if they detect damage. Replacing the hoses can solve the problem.

Next, make sure that the drain hose is not positioned below the washer fill level. This causes the water to be suctioned out of the washer as fast as it fills.

If these steps don't solve the problem. Then your issue is at the fill valve, the controller or the wiring harness. The valve isn't opening properly - either because the valve is bad or the message to open the valve isn't being received. Additional tests will be needed to determine the fault.

Please add a comment with the model of the washer for additional assistance. I hope this helps.

Top load Maytag washer about 20 years old. Fills OK with water but will not agitate. Cannot hear timer ticking at any time. Thanks.

You might have a sensor problem that prevents the cycle from proceeding.
Most washers have a sensor that detects the water level, thus allowing the selection of Small, Medium and Large loads and the related water level.
Some sensors also use a breather tube, which can become clogged with fluff or debris, causing the same symptom.
Only when the sensor activates, will power be applied to the timer or rotary control unit's little motor, thus causing the cyle to proceed.

How do you select the load size on the Maytag Bravos Top load washer?

This machine is equipped with technology that allows it to sense the load size and will use the appropriate amount of water for that load. Takes the guesswork out!

At the end of cycle washer will not stop filling and overflows. maytag neptune fav6800aww

There is a diaphram switch located in the machine at the bottom right in the rear. When you remove the front panel it will be all the way back on the right. It senses the water level. It has three levels it detects. I had a problem with mine filling too much. That should take care of your problem.

My washer codes says OE...never have seen this one before...

A fault is detected in the water level sensor. Data (frequency) shows the water level is at or above the overflow level.

We just installed the MAH9700AWM Maytag Neptune and got an error code OE? We cancelled cycle, etc still getting issue.

The "OE" error code means the control detected the water level in the machine is above the overflow level. According to your description the first failure suspect is the water valve possibly stuck. Perform the troubleshooting as described in the tech sheets.

Maytag washing machine model PAV3360AWW won't stop water on selected water level.

It sound like you have a bad float switch and it is not reading the water level right. If it is filling and wont stop then a possible new water valve is in order:) The float switch is locatted under the top panel of washer
