I sent an email and error code 98 showed up

Hi Richard. Thers a good chance you have mail preferences setup to compose new emails in "plain text". And/Or, "Use the same message format as the original message", meaning if you reply to someone who sent you an email that is in Rich Text Format, then your reply will be in Rich Text Format but, if they send you an email in Plain Text Format, then your reply, and possibly any forwarding will be sent in Plain Text also.

For website addresses to be "clickable links" in mail, you need to ensure all emails you send, forward, or reply are in Rich Text Format.
go to Mail... Preferences... then select the Composing tab and ensure Message Format is set to "Rich Text".
Further below in the same tab you will see "Responding" and a tick box for Use the same message format as the original message (Respond using Rich or Plain Text).
If you always want to respond or forward in Rich Text only and every time, then deselect that option.
All links should work and be clickable from then onwards.

You can highlight a non working website link in the email body, right click, then select "Link" then "Add Link" to make it clickable but, you will receive a notification about converting this message to rich text format?"

Basically, the links will not be clickable if you are setup to compose new emails in Plain Text. Nor will any replies or forwards you send that are changing to Plain Text to match the format received by you from others.
Always end, reply and forward in Rich Text Format

First make sure you have entered the correct number if that doesnt work call verizon or go into your local store they will fix it for free.

Although I don't believe my user dictionary was flushed, my phone also keeps notifying me, "message not sent" when i didn't send a message. When I press the notification, im taken to a blank text message. No name or number in the To: slot and no message in the message section. Its driving me nuts(Not to say I wasn't already there to begin with) Any suggestions would be great.

I had this problem and noticed that when I used rich text, I received that error message but when I switched to plain text, I was able to send out emails again. I hope this helps.

This is caused when the phone cannot communicate with your cellphone providers network. Please call you cellphone provider and their tech support will work to correct this for you.

On the view, you have to touch the picture itself in the message and it will give you the option to save it.

You need to delete your email accounts and go through the install again. But you should also update your phone via your computer with the latest release

Go into a new text message and hit the "send to" option. Scroll down to the first name above the line and hit the "options" button. Scroll down and select "Recent messages" and choose whoever from that list that you'd like to be your top 3. I actually just sent all three of mine a blank text, but when I went back to the "send to" list voila! MORE INFO: I tried all kinds of things to remove names from my top three recipients list. What ended up working was to send a text to multiple recipients at once. Two was enough. But it was important who I selected first. I sent a message to my wife and my friend. My wife's name got added back to my top three! Then I reversed and sent a message to my friend and to my wife. His name got added back!

Go to messaging  - message setting - General Settings - Messages Sent Via  TEXT ( must be )

 

 

I have the same problem. You have to use the area code, the full 10 digit number. Even the phone numbers stored in your memory need to include the area code for the text to send.
