Hello - Interior cleaning after convection, mix or broil cooking:

Spatters may occur because of moisture and grease. Wash immediately after use with hot, soapy water. Rinse and polish dry. Harder to remove spatters may occur if oven is not thoroughly cleaned or if there is long time/high temperature cooking. If so, you may wish to purchase an oven cleaner pad with liquid cleaner within it-not a soap filled steel pad-for use on stainlessor porcelain surfaces. Follow manufacturer's directions carefully and be especially cautious not to get any of the liquid cleaner in the perforations on the wall or ceiling or any door surfaces. Rinse thoroughly and polish dry. After cleaning the interior thoroughly, residual grease may be removed from the interior ducts and heater by simply operating the oven on 450 F for 20 minutes without food. Ventilate the room if necessary.

Interior cleaning after microwave cooking:

Cleaning is easy because no heat is generated to the interior surfaces; therefore, there is no baking and setting of spills or spattering. To clean the interior surfaces, wipe with a soft cloth and warm water. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE OR HARSH CLEANERS OR SCOURING PADS. For heavier soil, use baking soda or a mild soap; rinse thoroughly with hot water. NEVER SPRAY OVEN CLEANERS DIRECTLY ONTO ANY PART OF THE CONVECTION MICROWAVE OVEN.

Using stainless steel utensils in a microwave oven

Every one knows that one cannot use metal utensils/bowls in a microwave oven.
But did you know that this does not apply to a utensil/bowl made out of stainless steel?
Try it this way.
Put some water in a stainless steel container and place it in the microwave for 5 seconds. The water will heat up without any sparks being created.
One could actually heat up anything in this way without any danger of causing a fire.

Magnatron blew out

The magnetron will need to be replaced with the original, aftermarket are cheaper but will only last several month's, you may have secondary problems that are not evident. I suggest a professional to go over the microwave oven to assess cost.

Unsightly film on microwave after cleaning with bleach.

Purchase a stainless steel cleaner from anywhere. They usually have lemon oil in them that leaves a nice shine on the surface. You can even use furniture polish in a pinch it is about the same. An oil free choice would simply be window cleaner and paper towel. My moms old fashion secret to no streaks was newspaper for drying with. Works great. Good luck.

I seasoned my new stainless steel skillet in the oven now I have built up oil stuck to the sides inside the skillet. How can I remove this without damaging the stainless steel finish? HELP!

You only need to season a cast iron skillet, not stainless steel. Soak it in hot soapy water and use something like a mister clean pad to clean it.

How to clean GE Advantium???

Get a stainless steel "brillo pad" at the grocery store.

When you get home ... put a microwave safe container with water inside it ... in the oven. do not heat for more than 2 minutes!!!!! The resultant steam will soften the gunk. Use the stainless steel cleaner pad gently to remove the goop.

I hope this helps you

Amama 2.0 Cu ft. Radarange Microwave model# UXA3036BAB

This model does not list Stainless Steel as a feature. Stainless Steel is used in the interior (CAVITY) of a Microwave if it is a Combination Convection/Microwave Oven. The Convection Oven can reach temperatures of 400+ degreesF. This Temperature would MELT the paint off a painted interior.
Stainless Steel can be tested with a Magnet. It will not be attracted or "Stick" to Stainless.
Hope this answers your concerns!
Thanks!
