This is a problem with Microsoft's RSS Feed Reader. As most people use a different Reader (or don't use RSS at all) this can be disabled. Please follow the instructions below to disable it.

Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools>>then Internet Options.
Click on the Content tab.
At the bottom, under the Feeds section, click Settings.
Uncheck all boxes and click OK.
Click OK to close the window.
Close Internet Explorer and reopen.

You must have had a problem during Windows Updates.
Solve the problem by installing Service pack 3.
If you already have service pack 3 then reinstall it.

Download service pack 3 from the link below.

Antivirus and firewall prevent msfeedssync to connect.

You can use next 3 solutions (hope this help you):
NOTE: Before using ones of the next 3 solutions. You can test disabling your Anti-virus and check if the error occurs, if yes, then disable you firewall. But only for testing, AFTER test enable both AV and FW and select the solution from above that suits you better.

1. Disable the app:
Run CMD
and type: msfeedssync disable

2. Disable automatic update in IE
Internet Options - Content - Content Advisor -
"Sources” “Configuration” and disable “Search..."

3. Configure your Anti-virus and Firewall.
It depend of your software used, for the firewall you need to allow connections for msfeedssync.exe located in, C:\Windows\System32

Hi there and welcome here.

feeds synchronization error comes IF :

1. the web pages you request feeds from are corrupt (RSS FEEDS)

2. The Internet Explorer are not function well

For 1: try to remove the RSS Feeds that are error on, you find it in the favorites under RSS Feeds (in the left side of the screen :O)

For 2 : Here you can try to uninstall Internet Explorer and install it again, you do it in this way : uninstall Internet explorer in Add and Remove programs in Control Panel, reboo the computer and install Internet explorer again ;O)

Microsoft Feeds Synchronization error keeps on popping up.

Sounds like your IE is corrupt, uninstall it from Add/Remove programs, this will revert to an older version, visit Windows Updates to re-install.

Synchronization error

This happens because you have RSS Feeds, from Microsoft, and they are losing the connection, sometimes, this can be quite normal. If you do not want the to appear any more simply turn off your RSS feeds.
