I cant get my dvd to run without the pscan split screen coming help.... follwed directions in manual it didnt work HELP memorex dvd player model#mvd2022 the pscan screen is up and i cant get rid of it and its split screen wat do i do?

On the back of your player you should see a switch that can slide back and forth that's marked PSCAN. Slide the switch into the opposite position from which it's in now. The should solve your problem.

I have a DIAMOND vISION DVD player...DVDV 803-03 Progressive Scan DVD/CD/MPC/CD-RW PLAYER THE SCREEN IS S P L I T WITH BIG P SCAN SIGN; THERE IS NO SWITCH ON BACK TO TURN ON/OFF; THERE ARE A RED AND YUELLOW INLET MARKED Progressive Scan...but I am not plugged into them ????

I should have added that there is no switch on back showing PSCAN (to turn on and off), but there are two (red and yellow) inlets showing 'Progressive Scan' ...but I am not plugged into them. G. Wilson
