Are you running the audio through an amplifier? If so, it sounds like you are using the blue wire (power antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on). The power antenna remote turn on turns off when leaving tuner mode, turning the amp off.

SOURCE: XO Vision XOD1740BT in dash dvd player bypass code

I solved it By connecting the pink wire to a constant ground this acts as a bypass so the unit plays anytime.

SOURCE: everytime i take turn the car on or off the radio resets to defau

If you are losing the memory (clock and presets) on the unit, you need to make sure that the yellow wire (normally) has 12 volts AL THE TIME and the red (acc) is switched on and off with the key. The battery wire (memory consant 2 volts) is the one that retains memory.

hi there
it shouldn't be to hard to install this but it does require cutting a hole in your interior part of roof........a install like this could take anywhere from 30 mins - 1hr for a installer to put it in. to do it yourself it could take 1-3hrs to complete (note for your first time doing this take your time and follow the install manual that will be provided)

SOURCE: I can't get my xo vision xo1915bt cd player to play my ipod

You cant get it to play your iPod with the USB connection. The only way to get it to play an iPod is if you hook up the AUX connection located in the back of the unit. get yourself a red/white to 3.5mm cable (3 ft should do) and run it through your dash into a location that will be convienent to put your iPod. The only other way to play an iPod is if it is one of the newer touch models that has Bluetooth. Then you can use the A2DP connection to play it wirelessly.

In short, the USB is only for charging your iPod, or playing music on flashdrives.

you can look for a radio shop to repair the cd player it would be cheaper to install a aftermarket radio they do have kits if you have steering wheel controls

sounds like your popping the breaker, after a while your speakers will go, theres just too much power for it to handle, take it to a car audio store and get them to test it, you may need new speakers

you have the amp remote wire hooked to the power antenna lead instead of the amp wire on the deck otherwise just hook it to a switched +12 volt source. You sure you got a DVD changer instead of just a cd changer
