I've seen this exact error a few times on the 4101s & turned out to be a bad EIO hard drive. If you replace the drive, you'll most likely have to download the newest firmware & load it to get every feature back. You can try & initialize the drive first though: - Turn off printer - Press & hold [Start] button - Turn printer on, wait for all 3 LEDs to stay solid then release button - Press & release [Left] arrow button (should read "Initialize Disks" on display - Press & release [Select], then wait for printer to warm up Listen also to the drive & if you hear it clicking over & over then it's bad & will need replaced.
So I am not the only one encountering the same problem! Printing A4 & DL are great but it simply does not let me print A6 properly no matter how hard I tried to configure the paper size (at the printer settings, printer preferences, the application settings etc) Can Fuji Xerox fix this?
Hello. You'll be glad to know that HP have an excellent website where you can download drivers and utilities for your HP products, so just go to www.hp.com
and select 'Support & Drivers' and then 'Drivers & Software' and enter your Product where prompted, ie, 'Deskjet F380' and, after selecting your OS from the drop-down menu, choose the driver to download. Place it on your desktop and , as they're usually executables...ie, 'filename.exe' , just double-click the file to start the install process.
