Dead handsets Hi; I have 2 dead KX-TGA650 handsets in my 4-phone KX-TG6500 system. One of them frequently drops the call during conversation,& the other does not even give a dial-tone. I would prefer to get them repaired, but if necessary &/or more cost effective, i may buy replacements, or a new single-line system . As a last resort, i was wondering if any of the single-line handsets would be able to communicate efficiently with a single line of the KX-TG6500 base-station. Can you help?

Thanks Martha. That may be my problem also. I am going to order some fresh batteries. Maybe some light sandpaper scrubbing on the contacts will help. Two handsets are acting up on me, out of four total. It is cost prohibitive to order new sets or to get the old ones repaired. Maybe one of us should sell our leftovers to the other, so that least one of us have a full set. Does that sound like a good idea?
