How do I adjust tv screen size to fit laptop? lap top projection is to large for operating properly. to big.

Assuming you have a flat screen 16x9 TV, make sure it is set to screen fit so that there is minimal overscan. The button should be called pic size or aspect ratio. Also set your laptop to the same resolution as your TV or as close as possible to a supported resolution.

27 inch Zenith TV Vertical too big

If you are using a DTV coverter box, you may have changed the aspect ratio with your remote control. look for a button marked "aspect" or "picture size" use that to change size.
If you have a cable box, you may have a similar button.
Or you may find a picture size adjustment on your TV remote.
If you do not have "aspect" button on your remote try going to set up menu and look for picture size.
Older TVs used to have a vertical size adjustment at the back. look in the manual.
If none of the above, you have a biiger problem with the TV internal parts needing attention

Why did my picture become big so I can not see the sideline information

Press the RATIO button repeatedly to select the desired picture format. You can also adjust Aspect Ratio in the OPTION menu.
  1. Set By Program. Selects the proper picture proportion to match the source’s image. (4:3 → 4:3, 16:9 → 16:9)
  2. 4:3. Choose 4:3 when you want to view a picture with an original 4:3 aspect ratio, with gray bars appearing at both the left and right sides.
  3. 16:9. Choose 16:9 when you want to adjust the picture horizontally, in a linear proportion to fill the entire screen.
  4. Horizon. Choose Horizon when you want to adjust the picture in a non-linear proportion, that is, more enlarged at both sides, to create a panorama view.
  5. Zoom 1. Choose Zoom 1 when you want to view the picture without any alteration. However, the top and bottom portions of the picture will be cropped.
  6. Zoom 2. Choose Zoom 2 when you want the picture to be altered, both horizontally extended and vertically cropped. The picture taking a halfway trade off between alteration and screen coverage.
  7. Cinema Zoom. Choose Cinema Zoom when you want to enlarge the picture in correct proportion. Note: When enlarging or reducing the picture, the image may become distorted. You can adjust the enlarge proportion of Cinema Zoom using D / E button. The adjustment range is 1~16.

Images are too fat looking or spread out on my 22" monitor, how do i adjust so the images appear normal?

You need a video card that will adjust the resolution to the proper proportion. The closest I can get to a good aspect ratio is 1152 x 864.

Words disappear off edge of screen no matter which aspect I use. Panasonic TX28DTX11

Make sure the video device is set properly formats and ratios. If that is not the problem then there is an issue with the allignment and you should have it professionally adjusted. Sometimes with age service settings get out of proportion with the dimming of the bulbs.
