I don't think so. This dishwasher has been working, now it won't. It goes through the cycle, but there is no water

Bosch shx33a starts, fills, then stops. Drains OK when forced to end cycle.

My Bosch dishwasher fills with water but when it comes to the wash cycle it does nothing.

If your dishwasher is brand new, then call Bosch service as they can repair it under warranty.

Our Bosch dishwasher has water filling back in bottom of dishwasher after cycle is complete. You can empty dishwasher and no water will be in the bottom, but several hours later the water has filled the...

Check the drain line underneath the sink.
It should be suspended just below the counter top.
If it is too low, water from the sink will back fill into the dishwasher.
If the drain is OK,then the dishwasher water valve is defective.

Dishwasher: BOSCH SHE43 - pump keeps draining

Your dishwasher is stuck in flood mode. Bosch dishwashers are built with flood switches located in the bottom base pan of the dishwasher. The flood switch is connected to a rod that activates a small interlock switch. When water enters the base pan on a Bosch dishwasher, a Styrofoam puck lifts the rod, activating the flood switch.

When the flood switch is activated, the dishwasher will go into a no-fill, only-drain mode. The drain motor may also run with the door open to the unit. This is definitely a sign there is water in the base pan. This can be caused by the drain being clogged. There are two ways to fix:

1. You can uninstall the dishwasher and tip it forward to about a 45 degree angle to drain the water out of the base pan. (This is probably why Ian Bint's solution fixed the problem.) Be sure to put a towel under the dishwasher first so that the water is soaked up in the towel instead of going all over the floor. Once you've drained all the water out of the base pan, reinstall the dishwasher and begin a cycle. If it fills and runs, you are good to go.

2. You can also unplug the unit, then remove the kick panel at the bottom in the front. (It's attached with two screws.) Then get some old washcloths or small towels and reach into the base pan below the dishwasher to soak up the water. The pan is directly behind the plastic base panel rim. Once the pan is empty and dry, your dishwasher will no longer be in "flood mode" and will run properly.

If the base pan keeps refilling with water and the no-fill problem returns, there is definitely another issue, such as a clogged drain. At this point, you need to decide whether to invest in an expert evaluation by a certified Bosch repairman and make the necessary repairs, or buy a new dishwasher.

Bosch shu5315 06

it sounds as though the circulating pump may not be operating. if so fault is often due to the pump capacitor being faulty and this is a cheap part.
