We have tried changing everything we can think of and the shows we have recorded on dvd with this player will not play on other dvd players. it keeps saying "invalid disk"
You can play these recordings without finalizing them in the D-R410, but if you want them to play
in other DVD players, they need to be finalized. See pages 28 to 32 in manual. If you want to
finalize the disks you've already made, follow the directions on page 32.
Some machines dont "speak the same language"even though they complete the same tasks. try using another dvd recorder, machine, or disk brand. This happens to me when I record using my older computer, I can play cds in my playstation, the dvd player in the bedroom but not the living room and not my chevrolete car.
