Sony Bravia TV kdl red blinking led light error codes solutions

Hi,
Is is standby light blinking red or any other light? Let me know how many times red standby light blinking after three seconds long pause to provide you helpful info.
It seems pop sound was due to broken lamp, please check lamp inside tv and if it is broken, replace it to solve tv problem.

check if its under status or under the lamp,
if you can get red light under status, it may require service you can try to check the air vents or make sure that the tv was not in a close cabinet or pressing system reset.
but if can get a redlight under the lamp need to reset it, but if still the same need to replace the lamp

tv will not power on. red light on switch blinks. power relay clicks, but no picture or sound.

Service manual says 3 flashing red leds = eeprom error (main digital / video pcb).

Hello it is the bulb the bulb's on the Rear projection tv are ****. Buy  new tv cause it costs alot to have these tv fixed.

If it shuts off and then the power light starts blinking red or it never comes on but the power light just blinks red continuously that is usually indicative of the convergence ICs (STK 392-110). You never want to replace the ICs without also replacing the resistors that are associated with them. There are usually 6 resistors, one for each of the colors and there corresponding direction, IE Red horizontal, red vertical, blue horizontal, ect. In the case of this model tv all of the resistors are 2.2 Ohm and 2watts. You will find them right where the STK 392-110 ICs are. Right in front of them. They are blue and have this color code on them. Red, red, gold, gold. These are represented by stripes on the resistors. You can get the parts from www.bdent.com They carry the ICs and the resistors. 42 inch Toshiba DLP. Was watching a movie and the screen went dark. The red light started to flash and kept flashing. any ideas 

did u cheak the input cables does it do it on dvd input as well as others ?
