I have just installed windows 7 and now my Belkin Surf & Share Wireless USB Adapter is not working as in it is seen but the PC says there are no wireless networks available, the adapter is enabled but doesn't seem to work? The wireless network I am using is working fine as my laptop connects to it no problem. When I have tried troubleshooting it say that some drivers may be missing, I have been to the belkin website and installed the relevant drivers but still no success.. Help appreciated please...

do you have a Wireless Router + Broadband modem? This is like a base station to which your remote wireless node communicates (to get connected to your home network and internet. something like this http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=187337 for an ADSL connection. If you are on cable, you can either get a Router similar to the one above (but for cable) http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1138056788757&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=8875739789B01 or if your Cable modem has LAN ports you may just be able to use an "Access Point" to add Wireless capabilities. http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1126536803676&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=0367639789B22

I don't think it's a belkin issue I have the same one and I did buy another type and ended up taking it back because it wouldn't even pick up a signal whereupon I was told windows updates messes with them to which I thought er right but as it turns out it my belkin played up si I restored to before a critical update and hey it works again.
