Screen flashes, picture is blurred. Then shuts down completely.

I an using an HP Pavillion laptop dv 6000 with Vista.
Quincy emailed me a download, but it did nothing.
He also kindly offered to refund my money, but I would rather have the program work.
Please help!

Dv 6000 are notorious for a bad video chip on the motherboard have four here all with the same problem the issue is a nonlead based solder the motherboard would have to be sent out to get reballed

Is heatsink connected to this problem? (sic) Most probably not, it is more than likely a simple Driver problem. Try to startup in SAFE MODE, press F8 at boot time. If this works you could run a "System Restore" back to a time before it went faulty. Or troubleshoot from safe desktop.
