LGE59777S Not drying

We purchased the LGE59777S about 2 years ago. I can recall how impressed I was at how hot things were and how fast things dried. Lately I have to put the clothes through 2 or 3 cycles to have them completely dry, especially towels. They can take over 1 hour to dry. (This can not be normal) I have even bumped up the drying time. If the cycle time is 54 minutes, it runs, beeps and feels damp, so I will run it again with more dy time. It could say 60 minutes and then in about 20 it beeps and is slightly dyer, but still not dry. The clothes feel warm, but not hot. After purchasing a dyer cleaning brush system, I completely took apart the venting system and cleaned everything out. I had my husband go outside when I turned the dryer on to make sure it was blowing out, it was. What could the problem be?

There is a little sensor that tells the dryer when to heat and when not to heat. that sensor is bad. If you take the back of the dryer off you will see it. It is about the size of a half dollar and has 2 wires that plug into it. While you have it apart make sure that the dryer vent on the back of the dryer is not plugged with lint. Major cause for fires in dryers.

Painted 4 days ago & paint still not dry

Modern auto paints such as urethanes, acrylic enamels and others need catalysts or hardeners added, usually 1/2 to 1 pint per gallon. Call your local auto paint supplier and tell them what brand you used. Heat always helps drying time speed up. Retarders can be used as well as fast dry thinners depending on your local conditions. Vintage alkyd enamels needed heat or a full hot day to dry and stayed sensitive for weeks.

Using my wet/dry vac - less than 5 hours on the thing - it just stopped - can't get it to switch back on. Tried different plugs - different days. Although I purchased over 2 years ago, it has hardly been...

It may have gotten hot if you went too long before cleaning the filter. It sounds like you may have burnt it up. I hope not! You might also check to see if you tripped a breaker on the electrical panel. Try plugging it in an outlet that is not on the same circuit. If it works in another outlet, then you have just tripped a breaker.

Good Luck!

Odor in dishwasher, not cleaning silverware, dissapointed

Most dishwashers have a strange smell, forever. It's the nature of the beast. A drying agent is required for dishwashers, even when using the drying cycle. Silverware is difficult to get clean, if it isn't prewashed, like everything else. A liquid dishwasher detergent along with turning your hot water temperature up a few degrees will help matters.
Don't overload it and the dishes will come out a lot better.

Burning Frigidaire dishwasher

After you turn off the power to your dishwasher, you can inspect the dishwasher with a flashlight to find where the melting happened. If it is near the circle that is the heating element, you can suspect the timer froze during the drying cycle.

But also open things up and look for shorted/melted wires (in the door panel and under the dishwasher.)

No matter what you find, if you have proof of purchase for your dishwasher, I would press for repair/replacement from the manufacturer.

Good Luck!

Dishes stay wet after cycle

No drain hose routing has nothing to do with drying performance. The biggest thing that affects drying performance is water temp. Modern dishwashers use such a small amount of water is usually never gets very hot before the dishwasher has reached its full level. You can try to select hi temp wash and that should help. Also make sure that heat dry is selected. Also you really to purchase jet dry and install in dispenser. This will improve drying as well.
