Pavilion ze4600 will not start

The blue screen that you see is what they call "the blue screen of death". The error that you have is Unmountable Boot Volume. This is caused by the operating system not being to load due to hard drive errors. This happens due to the computer being shutdown improperly or hard drive problem. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer so they can try and restore the computer without formatting or changing the hard drive.

Bios shows not hard disk even after putting to Auto and trying User settings

This usually means Hard Drive failure, are your connections good? Is this a new drive? If you know you have a drive with os on it then boot files could be damaged. Can you boot with os disk? You can do a repair from the windows disk in recovery mode. reset bios to default values. Last resort before saying maybe the drive controllers on motherboard are bad. Take apart and do good cleaning. This worked believe it or not on a stubborn laptop that I replaced Hard Drive and still was giving me similar errors. Client says computer has been working ever since.
