My HP Photosmart C3180 will not turn on. It was working yesterday, today it simply won't turn on. No jams, cartridges were ok yesterday. Have unplugged printer & plugged it back in - nothing. this happened a few weeks ago as well, but the unplugging/plugging got it started up again. Thanks. Doreen

Sounds like their is not communications between your printer and computer. Could be a bad USB cable - swap out and see if that fixes it. If not it could be a faulty USB port on the computer or printer. You can check the computer USB port by connecting another device, but there is no way to check the HP's USB port. I would also check printer USB port for dust bunnies! If you're not able to resolve, I think it is time for another printer.

If using a power strip with multiple sockets, try a different one, in case one is bad while others still work.
