Brand new Emerson Microwave Oven and Grill (MWG9111SL). Doesn't heat up. Called their service number, only get a recording and it's during working hours. Don't Recommend! Junk!

Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

If for some reason you don't have your owner's manual, I would suggest calling the dealer where you bought it to see if they have a number for Cookworks.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

You will need the full model number of your Cookworks microwace oven. Then send it first with google.... if no success then go to the Cookworks Search service team. They made a good job with two of my Cookworks manuals. Not free, but worthy.

Cookworks microwave starts operates all keys but does not heat or coock

The magnetron is the likely cause, "heats food" If the microwave is more than five years old, cheaper to replace than repair.

Where can I go to download instruction manual for Cookworks 700W Microwave Have just moved into flat with microwave which I cant use.

I would call the store from which you purchased it to get Cookworks' contact info, or do a Web search using the term Cookworks and the country it was made for or the full model number.

Microwave stopped heating

I had the same oven for one and a half years and had the same problem. Had the sears repairman come out and he said the magnetron burned out and needed replacing for $285. It was never under warranty with the warranty that came with oven. I couldn't believe it! We had an independent repairman look at it and he found a design flaw that causes the magnetron to blow. If you replace the matnetron (megnatron?) it will work for awhile, maybe, but then just need to be replaced again. It's cheaper to buy a new microwave. In fact, I got out our old microwave that's over 20 yrs. old and still works--just isn't as fast and as new ovens. Good luck!

Doesn't heat anything

HI, there is only one in-line fuse link that is designated for the power board. this is concerning the Magnetron. this heating device has failed. replacing the Magnetron will fix this issue.
