Just squeeze the light cover and it should pop off forwards (ie. away from the fridge side.

SOURCE: Smeg Fridge light

What you need to locate is the door switch mechanism for the fridge. These are normally located towards the top of the door and protrude so that when the door closes the switch is pushed in. To find out if you have a problem with the switch just press it when the door is open and the light should go off. The switch itself can appear in various forms either as a protruding rod or a curved plate which pushes upwards against the door side when it closes. If I could draw in this section it could be better explained. But if you look around the inside of the fridge on the side away from the door hinge then you should find something you can push. Sorry to be this vague. If you do need a replacement switch they are normally quite simple to change depending on where they are located, most are two screws, or just a push in type. Hope this has been of some help.

SOURCE: Fisher Paykel fridge door handle loose

Yes hello, I had the same problem - similar fridge model.  Mine was the fridge (not freezer) door handle ie. the upper door.  There are no small holes on the bottom of my fridge handle.  Working from the outer door edge, I gently prized loose the plastic trim located under the door.  I didn't take it completely off, just loosened about one quarter of the length, enough to flex the trim downward so that I could then access the phillips head screw that secures the fridge handle from the inside of the door.  The trim will prevent you from using a conventional screw driver to tighten the screw.  I used a screw driver bit which is only 25mm long.  It has an hexagonal end to which I applied a small spanner and voila - the handle is once more secure.  Good luck.

SOURCE: I used a GE Helical

You should use a standard 40 watt appliance bulb (usually clear). The life of compact florescent bulbs is greatly shortened by turning it on and off frequently. They work best being left on for 15 minutes or longer. Cold temperatures can also shorten bulb life as well.

SOURCE: LG refrigerator GR-B258jvc - replacing light bulb

There are usually 3 or 4 locking tabs on the cover that just need to be pressed INDIVIDUALLY toward the bulb to release them and then carefully remove the cover. The ones with 3 tabs usually have and upper and lower tab then the thrid tab is on the side. Removed the upper and lower tabs by pressing inward to the bulb and then the cover will pivot out on the 3rd SIDE tab.

Fisher paykal cooker

There is a fault with the wiring or the element. The fault started as a short circuit but has now blown itself clear to an 'open circuit' (a break). Check the element and associated wiring. I doubt the thermistat is to blame. Cheers

The oven won't turn on. We are unable to set the clock either. The display flickers but doesn't display.

There are lots of different timers on fisher and paykal The last one I reset was a few weeks ago it involves pressing 2 buttons at the same time I think it was the oven on and oven off buttons but I am not sure You will know when you have pressed the right 2 buttons the display will stop flickering set the clock time using the up down arrow buttons The auto light should not be on if it is press the manual button Regards Geoff Stove Recyclers
